4 Ways Physical Therapists Can Promote Themselves (With Templates)

COVID-19 pandemic or not, it’s beneficial for physical therapists to build relationships with current and past patients, gyms, nearby clinical providers, and other local communities. In this article, we cover 4 ways physical therapists can promote their services to deliver care to more patients. Plus, we provide templates to help you with your outreach as you build these relationships.

1. Reach out to Friends, Family, and Past Patients

Word of mouth is perhaps the most powerful marketing tool. Do you know of any friends, family, or former patients who might need PT? If they don’t, someone they know might need it!

How are you? I’m reaching out to let you know I am now offering PT via in-person delivery and also televisits through Luna. If you don’t need PT, do you know anyone who does?

2. Promote on Social Media

3. Contact Local Gyms, Community Groups, Churches, and More

Some gyms have PT’s on staff or refer to a local clinic. By contacting the General Manager or connecting with trainers at the gym, they may be able to connect you with members who would be interested in on-demand physical therapy through in-person delivery or televisits.

Hi <<name>>, my name is <<your name>> and I am a physical therapist with Luna in your area. During these trying times, it can be challenging for your members to get the PT they need. I can deliver 1:1 care to your members’ homes, at the gym, or through televisits.

Why Luna?

Physical therapists love Luna because it gives them the chance to own their career. As a Luna PT, you’ll:

  • Work when you want. You set your own schedule, and Luna handles the booking, billing, and patient marketing.
  • Treat engaged patients. This is not traditional home health. You get to work with patients who are motivated, ambulatory, and who have outpatient needs.
  • See the clinical impact. You spend 45-55 minutes of each appointment with your patient, and see them for their entire course of care.

What’s more, Luna works with major insurance providers.

Whether you’re a patient looking to receive physical therapy treatment in your home, a physical therapist ready to own your career, or a physician looking for better physical therapy access and treatment for your patients, Luna is here to help you and your patients.
