What's your personal background?
I was born in Washington in 1982 and lived there until 1991, when my family moved to Southern California. My husband and I have two daughters that are 11 and 6. In 2016, we decided to move to Northern California where we live a happy life with our two dogs and blossoming family.
What's your professional background?
I have a bachelor's degree in marketing, an associates degree in respiratory therapy where I received my RRT license. I’m a Licensed RRT, and a subsequent masters degree in business administration. I began my healthcare career as a respiratory therapist and worked primarily ICU trauma and education. From there, I moved to Pediatrics. After a number of years serving patients, I move to Director of Cardiopulmonary at a children’s hospital. Two years later, I took on the role of Quality Director for the same hospital. I transitioned to another hospital system and oversaw regulatory compliance for 3 hospitals in Southern California. In Northern California, I took on the role of Senior Analyst for Adventist Health Corporate office, supporting the system leadership in metrics related to clinical quality in support of organizational strategy. I loved my role at Adventist Health, but after learning about the opportunity at Luna, I needed to become a part of it.
