We recently chatted with Kate Senese, one of our top acquisition specialists at Luna. She's part of the team championing our extraordinary initiative of doubling our workforce in 2023 – a significant undertaking that she's excited to conquer. Let's learn more about her role, what drives her success, what she feels are the most compelling reasons people love working at Luna, and more.
Luna is highly impressive because no one else is doing what we're doing in the healthcare industry. I admire Luna's strategic business model and how it has leveraged its technology to gain a position of strength in the world of physical therapy. We are shaking things up, and considering I wanted to be a part of something that's really cutting edge, it's been an excellent fit. I'm very excited to help grow and scale the business with successful recruiting.
I recruit the non-clinical corporate staff based at Luna's headquarters in California. The positions I fill are the ones that support our growing team of physical therapists. Some of these positions include our Concierge Associates, who handle interactions between patients and PTs, and our Credentialing Associates, who are the "detectives of onboarding" for our new PTs. We verify our physical therapist's licensing, education, background, and other important criteria.
It's a warm yet hard-working team here. Everybody I've worked with is willing to roll up their sleeves and work together to get things done. There's a strong culture of appreciation, which is really refreshing. No matter what department I interact with, everyone is appreciative of your efforts.
I'm finding that people want to be part of something bigger than themselves and are choosing to work at Luna because of our immense positive impact on our communities. Our employees love being a part of Luna's incredible growth. Also, that rapid growth equates to fast-track career opportunities, which is very enticing. Moreover, our job candidates easily understand and identify with Luna and its business model.
